Alibismus

Alibism is the search for a person of various proofs, excuses and a way to avoid solving unpleasant situations or difficult decisions. He is simply looking for a way to avoid defaulting.

Alibi

An alibi is an argument that the person was elsewhere than expected. An alibi is often used in criminal investigations. The accused must provide irrefutable evidence - an "alibi" to prove that he was not at the scene at the time of the crime. So he could not commit the crime.
